Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender who is not only passionate about mixology but also comfortable and joyful around dogs. The ideal candidate will have the ability to craft classic and innovative drinks while engaging positively with both human and canine patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
- Interact with customers and their dogs, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, including four-legged ones.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age requirements.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area for service.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a bartender.
- Coffee experience a plus!
- Comfortable and enthusiastic about working in a dog-friendly environment.
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
- Relevant training certificate (e.g., Safe Alcohol Service, Bartender Certification).
